Completion of the part Goritsa-Agria of Volos ring road (km.st. 16+180 to km.st. 19+200)

The project included the completion of construction of Volos artery bypass section from Goritsa [flat junction (IK) until ALKIPIS road (route P28)] to km.st. 19 +200, before the western entrance of Agria.

In addition to the main Volos artery by-pass, the contract works included the flat junction at AGET and the vertical route P19 of the junction, the reformation of the IK of the P19 with Volos coastal road, Apollonos road (a vertical rehabilitating road of the Volos road), specific service roads (SR 21, road P19.N, SRa 14 and road P30), the local access side street SR 20 for the control building and the Goritsa substation tunnel, the rehabilitation of two short roads (P.ERG-1 and P.ERG -2) within the AGET industry network, necessary because of the impact on the main artery, as well as other specific site access roads at the western front of the Goritsa tunnel (street LAB -10) and the pedestals of AGET viaduct (T15).
