Construction of Axios bridge at the 5th Sindos-Halastra-N. Malgara county road

The project concerned all necessary studies and construction of the bearing structure of Axios bridge, the studies and construction of the road worksand the lighting of the bridge and its access roads. Axios bridge is 300m long consisting of ten 30m-long spans. Each span is a simply supported structural girder, which consists of 6 T-shaped main concrete beams, 1.80m high. The foundation is constructed with well piles of diameter Φ150 and depth 55m each. The access roads have a total length of 900m. For the lighting of the bridge and the access roads 11m-high metal posts were positioned every 30m.
