Extensions and ramifications of existing water network in the town of Thessaloniki
THESSALONIKI WATER AND SEWAGE COMPANY
The project concerned the implementation of the necessary extensions and ramifications or the replacement of water distribution network pipes, as well as the replacement of valves with new ones, aiming at a denser valve network. The ramifications’ pipelines consist of either galvanized iron pipes of several diameters, depending on the requested for water supply, or PVC or hard polyethylene (HDPE), of equivalent diameter. The extensions and the replacements of the network’s piping are made of PVC 12,5atm pipes, cast iron pipes or third generation hard polyethylene (HDPE), of different diameters.
