On a plot of more than 72000m² in the area of Tamasio, Karditsa, one of the largest and most modern cotton mills complex in the world was constructed by DOMOTECHNIKI S.A. The building complex covers an area of 17000m² and includes the cotton mills, the storage buildings and their sheds, the combustion building with the residue side-wall, the carburetor and pump house, the weighbridges, the boiler room, the office building and the guard house. All buildings are framed steel structures with cladding and panel roofing, except the infrastructure and the office buildings, which are made of conventional reinforced concrete structures. The landscaping included all appropriate excavations for the construction of the drainage canals, asphalt works and wire fencing of the plot.
