Expansion and modernization of a processing, standardization and storage unit
LIBANTSIS S.A.

The scope of the project was the expansion of the company’s premises that is located at the 82nd km of the National Road Athens-Lamia, in the area of Thiva. The unit includes a vegetable storage, processing and packaging building which was constructed on a private plot of a total surface of 2.55ha. The unit consists of storehouses and industrial buildings as well as offices of total built area of more than 12000m² and total volume of 103000m³.

The expansion and modernization concerned the new office facilities and outdoor areas for the deposition of wooden pallets and machinery. The unit fully supports the operations that are necessary for the conservation, processing and packaging of vegetables and salads as well as the maturing of green bananas and other fruits.

The unit is connected with the county road network in order to ensure safe and easy access to the trucks with products. The premises include administrative offices (secretary’s office, finance department, meeting rooms) which fully support the logistic unit’s operation.
